About RO GPD Ratings
GPD ratings are based on tests performed under specific water conditions (Urban tap water, 25°C/77°F, 100PSI).Every time the temperature drops by 1℃/33.8°F, the GPD Rating drops by about 3-4%; every time the pressure drops by 1 PSI, the GPD Rating drops by about 1-1.5%.For example, a standard 400GPD RO membrane, at a temperature of 10°C/50°F (or a pressure of 50PSI), the GPD Rating is about 200.
