This large carbon filter cartridge is made of pure coconut shell carbon blocks, wrapped in food-grade polypropylene non-woven fabric for fine water filtration while preventing carbon particles from seeping into the water. Tested by an independent third party to meet NSF 42 material safety standards.
Our carbon filters can filter up to 15,000 gallons of water, depending on usage and local water quality. The high-porosity design helps prevent clogging of the cartridge before its adhesion capacity is exhausted, thereby maximizing carbon utilization while maintaining a low-pressure drop. It is recommended that the average home be replaced every 3-6 months for optimal performance.
